Cypo Testosterone 200

Testosterone cypionate is among the most widely referenced esters in performance literature. Testosterone influences the growth and development of the genitalia, muscle and bone, and affects a broad range of physiological processes.

How it works

Cypionate is a long ester of testosterone. In clinical use it treats low testosterone in adult males, maintaining secondary sex characteristics by supporting the growth and development of the male sex organs.

Reported protocols

The half-life is 7 to 8 days. Reported ranges are 250 to 1000 mg for men and 25 to 100 mg for women, given intramuscularly. Cycle length in the literature averages 4 to 12 weeks on an ED, EOD, ETD or EFD injection pattern.

Clinical dosing is set against blood testosterone levels, existing conditions and response. This product is not administered intravenously.

Reported effects

Documented outcomes include changes in adult musculature and fat distribution. In adolescent males it drives maturation of the prostate, seminal vesicles, penis and scrotum, and the development of male hair distribution.

Reported side effects

Women are more exposed to the virilising effects, and because cypionate is a long ester it clears slowly, so a shorter ester is generally preferred in that context.

The common reported effects follow from excess DHT (androgenic effects), excess estrogen (gynecomastia, sleeplessness, water retention), suppression of endogenous testosterone, and changes to cholesterol and cardiovascular markers.
